For the last several months I have been kicking around the idea of networking more with those of you who support the Series and running in general.
If you look at the total picture of what a running club provides to its members, the Subway Challenge Series is in essence a running club. With 507 participants in 2009, I would guess we are the largest organization with active participants in Ohio & I would guess one of the larger groups in the nation with the exception of some of the larger groups such as the New Your Road Runner's Club, Atlanta Track Club, etc.
Many small businesses cannot afford the minimum charge of $1000.00 to be a sponsor of the Series, so we are offering a FREE business directory listing for all participants entered in the 2010 Subway Challenge Series. Simply send me your information as indicated when you click "Business Directory" (Upper right hand under Registration).
I encourage Series participants to check out the directory when looking for a service from a hair cut to plumbing, to concrete work, etc.! One of my favorite historic quotes is Ben Franklin's (supposed comment) "We either all hang together or we all hang separately"!
