Race director's work diligently to make their race a success and runner friendly event.   Every once in awhile you get throw a curve ball at the very last minute!   At 7:00am the Canton Fire Department closed Broad Avenue due to a gas leak-right along the 5 mile course-how do you plan for those types of occurrences???

But is stellar fashion the race went on with a slight detour from the course.   Everyone adjusted and it failed to dampen an enthusiastic morning and  great event!   Good Job by the runner & a great job by all of the race officials and safety forces. 

Thanks to all who participated as the two event set a new records in turnout.
